Perhaps It Will Soon Be Possible to Play “The Witcher” in Tesla Cars
Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk really liked the The Witcher series from Netflix. Probably, soon the owners of Tesla cars will not only be able to watch the series on the central display but also play The Witcher game. Otherwise, why would Elon Musk launch this poll on Twitter?
We remind you that Netflix support was added to Tesla’s September update.
The head of Tesla is considering the idea of porting the famous series of games of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED to Tesla cars. Given the fact that recently The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released on the Nintendo Switch console, which is built on the NVIDIA Tegra X1 SoC with an ARM-compatible 64-bit CPU, there should be no particular difficulties. The ARM-based NVIDIA Drive PX 2 car processor used in Tesla cars of earlier years is much more powerful than the Tegra X1, not to mention the new Tesla SoC Full Self-Driving (FSD).
Besides, Tesla previously added games to their cars. It is just a guess, but if Musk wants to do this, then it will hardly take a long time for the third Witcher to launch on the Tesla onboard PC. Of course, if it turns out to be possible.
By the way, the authors of The Witcher also reacted to this news on Twitter:
