OnePlus Nord With Six Cameras Unveiled for €399
OnePlus has finally officially unveiled the Nord in an online presentation. The design didn't surprise anyone because last week, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei revealed the final design of the upcoming mid-budget OnePlus Nord smartphone.
OnePlus top manager recorded a joint video with famous techno blogger Marques Brownlee:
OnePlus Nord is a more affordable alternative to the flagship OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, which start at $699 and $899, respectively.
Officially, OnePlus Nord has neither the MIL-STD-810G military shockproof rating nor the IP rating for dust and moisture resistance. However, the manufacturer mentioned that a team of 300 engineers put it through rigorous durability tests, including drop tests.
The day before, the head of OnePlus assured that OnePlus Nord has some protection and can survive a short-term immersion in water (to a depth of 30 cm for up to 30 seconds). But the manufacturer does not give any official guarantees for this case.
New OnePlus smartphones have rear cameras: four rear cameras on the back, a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor and two front-facing cameras, including an 8-megapixel sensor ultrawide camera with a 105-degree field of view, as well as a more traditional 32-megapixel selfie camera.
