Nothing Unveils Its Highly Anticipated Phone (2) with a New Glyph Interface
London-based tech company Nothing has officially unveiled its highly anticipated smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). This new device offers several significant improvements while retaining the sleek design of its predecessor.
One of the noticeable changes is the slightly pillowed and contoured glass back panel, which enhances the phone's ergonomics and user experience. The signature Glyph interface has also undergone enhancements, featuring more segmented LED light strips with illumination zones, providing new options for notifications, volume control, and charging indicators.
The Nothing Phone (2) boasts a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The phone features a dual rear camera setup—a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor. The front-facing camera is 32MP.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, it offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, depending on the variant.
The Nothing Phone (2) is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 13 with the Nothing OS 2.0 interface, which introduces new widgets, theme colors, folder layouts, and covers.
The phone is available in two color options—light and dark gray. Pre-orders have already opened.
