Nothing Unveils an Affordable Phone (2a) with a Unique Design
Nothing has officially launched the Phone (2a), its most budget-friendly smartphone to date, without compromising the distinctive design the brand is known for.
The Phone (2a) retains the signature transparent back panel but introduces a horizontal camera array, distinguishing it from its predecessors' vertical configurations. Despite being the most affordable in the lineup, it offers an intriguing blend of features, including customizable light-up Glyphs.
It's equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50-megapixel primary camera, complemented by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Under the hood, the Phone (2a) is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, a departure from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 used in higher-end models. This choice reflects Nothing's commitment to balancing performance with cost. Despite its budget-friendly price, the Phone (2a) does not skimp on features. It comes with an IP54 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and stereo speakers.
Priced at $329 for the 8GB/128GB model and $379 for the 12GB/256GB variant, the Phone (2a) hit the market on March 12.
