The Winners of the 13th Annual iPhone Photography Awards Were Announced in NY
Yesterday, the 13th International iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) winners were announced in New York.
The Grand Prize Winner and Photographer of the Year Award went to street photographer Dimpy Bhalotia of the United Kingdom for her image Flying Boys: three boys take flight from a wall into the Ganges River.
The first place and Photographer of the Year Awards went to Artyom Baryshau from Belarus with his pic No Walls, where blue stripes fade into the sky.
Geli Zhao from China took the second place for an untitled image of sheets catching wind on a cloudy day.
Saif Hussain from Iraq took the third-place with photo Sheikh Of Youth, a portrait of an older man caught between aspects of himself.
In total, 20 best works were selected. The winning photographers conveyed their vision of the world through strong artistic images: from endless landscapes to a lonely tree, from the streets of large cities to deserted areas.
Photographers from almost every corner of the world, including Australia, Bahrain, Belarus, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States took part in IPPAWARDS 2020.
Now you can register for the next competition here. The deadline of submissions is March 31, 2021. You can send photos taken only with iPhone or iPad. It is prohibited to use Photoshop, but you can use any iOS apps. iPhone add-on lenses can also be used.
