Warner Bros. Confirms Hogwarts Legacy 2 Development
Warner Bros. has officially confirmed the development of Hogwarts Legacy 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 hit Hogwarts Legacy. The announcement came shortly after the release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, a standalone game that focuses on the popular wizarding sport.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s CFO, Gunnar Wiedenfels, revealed that the sequel is one of the company’s top priorities for the coming years. While an exact release date has not been confirmed, Wiedenfels hinted that the game could be ready within the next two years.
The original Hogwarts Legacy was a massive success, selling over 22 million copies by the end of 2023 and logging 707 million hours of gameplay. The sequel aims to build on this success and is expected to feature new characters and stories within the Wizarding World.
Fans can expect more updates on Hogwarts Legacy 2 in the near future, as Warner Bros. continues to prioritize its growing gaming division.
