Trade War Timelines. Apple Attained the Import Tariff Lowering

The U.S. Trade Representative approved Apple's requests for exemption from the new duties on goods from China. Reuters brought this news on Saturday, September 21.

The agency made a positive decision for 10 amid 15 Apple's requests for excluding Apple company from paying the tariffs.

Although Donald Trump had the opposite position about this issue, the U.S. trade representatives canceled some levies for Apple and other small companies. The ones who assemble their products using intermediate components "made in China".

Especially it concerns the graphics cards and circuit boards, which are the most crucial and expensive components for computers that Apple or Intel sales.
