Instagram Is Now on Your Desktop in the Opera Browser

The developers of the Opera browser continue to turn it from a program for accessing the Internet into a multifunctional browser, equipped with a vast number of functions that are not always necessary for an ordinary user.

This way, now the company announced that it had integrated the Instagram social network into the new version of its desktop browser Opera 68. And this is in addition to several messengers built into the sidebar, including Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.

Over the past month, people have been using instant messengers and social networks much more actively to stay in touch with their friends and relatives in times of quarantine. Opera noted that users are much more likely to use the instant messengers built into their browsers as people spend more and more time on computers during both work and leisure time. To activate Instagram in Opera, you need to select the Instagram icon in the sidebar and log into your profile.

Many users still consider Instagram to be an exclusively mobile platform. Nevertheless, the developers have already released many new features for the web version, including, for example, open access to stories and direct messages.
