Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Confirmed for August 5
Samsung has published the first Galaxy Note 20 commercial, announcing the new flagship smartphone line's premiere date. The next major Galaxy Unpacked presentation will occur on August 5 — insiders named the same date a month ago.
The teaser confirms the new color of Mystic Bronze, which appeared ahead of time on the official website.
Also, Twitter user @jimmyispromo published a couple of photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
The new Galaxy Note 20 retains the general shapes and proportions of the Galaxy Note 10. However, the design of the main camera looks like one of the Galaxy S20. In front, the device looks almost identical to the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, except the top frame has become a little thinner.
The base Note 20 model will receive a screen diagonal of 6.7 inches, and Note 20+ — 6.9 inches. Still, there are no details about the technical characteristics and features of the new generation Galaxy Note.
Along with the Galaxy Note 20 line, the company is expected to reveal a successor to its first foldable, the Galaxy Fold. The new model will be released under the name Galaxy Z Fold 2. It will have 5G support, 256 GB of flash memory in the basic version, and new brown body color.
Galaxy Tab S7/S7 + tablets and the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch are also on their way, but these devices may be announced sooner.
The event itself will be held online at 10 AM ET.
