Back in October, Yahoo announced the following removal of all the content posted on the Yahoo Groups site. According to the support document, Yahoo decided to restrict uploading new content to the groups and to delete everything that was uploaded previously.
Users were not able to add new content to the site starting from October 28, and Yahoo was about to remove all previously posted content in Groups after December 14.
However, now, the company has extended the deadline to let users download their data. The requests need to be submitted by January 31, 2020.
We have extended the deadline for Yahoo Groups and will now process ALL requests to download data that are submitted before 11:59 PM PT on Jan 31, 2020 (originally Dec 14). As long as the request meets this deadline, the content will not be deleted until the download is complete.

The features that will no longer be available include Files, Links, Polls, Folders, Photos, Database, Calendar, Attachments, Conversations, Email Updates, Message History, and Message Digest.
The site will still exist, but something will indeed change. For instance, public groups will become restricted or private, and you will need to send a request to be a member of groups or receive an invitation from admins.
Sharing information with your groups’ members will be available via email.
