The “G𝜋T: Generative Practice Interview Trainer,” developed by the CSUF mathematics and sociology faculty, is poised to redefine how students across California State University campuses prepare for job interviews.

The genius behind this cutting-edge AI tool involves a dedicated team led by Alison Marzocchi, professor of mathematics. Supported by a $150,000 grant from the California Education Learning Lab, Marzocchi and her team have envisioned an AI bot that offers customized, realistic interview experiences. “We saw an opportunity to leverage an AI tool that provides students with interview practice so they can enter the job market better prepared,” Marzocchi enthused.
Breaking New Ground
What’s unique about this AI-powered bot is its customization flexibility, which caters specifically to students’ and instructors’ needs. Students can tailor it to simulate interviews for particular career paths or job positions, offering personalized real-time feedback.
