IFA or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin is one of Germany's oldest exhibitions and one of the leading trade shows for consumer electronics in the world. The exhibition was first held in 1924. It was not held during the Second World War and the post-war period (1940-1949). From 1950 to 2005, the exhibition was held every two years, and then it was converted into an annual format.
The Consumer Electronics Show (IFA) should be canceled due to a ban by the Berlin authorities on any events for more than 5,000 people until October 24 due to the coronavirus quarantine. But IFA 2020 will be held in a new format.
