On October 15, Google held the Made by Google 2019 presentation where they demonstrated its new products and, of course, smartphones Pixel 4 and 4 XL.
Camera
Both Pixel 4 models received a basic dual camera of 16 and 12.2 megapixels with f/1.7 and f/2.4 light power respectively. The design of the main camera on the backside is almost identical to the iPhone 11 square platform, but the optics and the flash are set differently.
The Pixel team spokesperson, Sabrina Alice, joked that Google hopes that the Pixel owners would use the flash more often as a flashlight, which means that the high-end quality simply makes the usage of the flash senseless.
Photo
When you press to take a photo, the camera takes nine pictures in one shot, thanks to that your photo turns out to be quite vibrant and bright.
The lens in Pixel 4/4 XL has a double zoom, creating the combination of digital and optical zoom. This brings high-quality images if you zoom over the long distances.
In the camera app, you can use two sliders: one will adjust the brightness of the picture, and another for shadows. White balance feature will automatically improve, especially images that turn blue or red when poor lighting.
Portraits and Features
Google has also worked on the portrait mode and added a new mode for taking pictures of stars. To get the high-quality photos user has to make only one click and keep the smartphone still, maybe better to set it on a tripod.
The Pixel 4 has a 5.7-inch Full HD display with Smooth Display, HDR, and Ambient EQ. The Pixel 4 XL is equipped with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display. Display refresh rate can be at 60 and 90 Hz. The covered is presented by Gorilla Glass 5. Several motion sensors at the top frame on the front side, make Motion Sense work.
Amid unique features which are terrific is the ability to control the smartphone without touching the screen. For example, when the wake-up call goes in the morning, you can turn it off by swiping your hand above the screen. Google's Soli sensors setup for facial recognition is avowed "the fastest face unlocking system."
