The Xiaomi Open Earphones feature an open-back design that does not cover the ear canal completely, allowing for a more natural listening experience. This design is particularly advantageous for users who remain attentive to their surroundings while enjoying music or taking calls. The earphones integrate dual microphones and a state-of-the-art anti-leakage system to enhance voice clarity and privacy during calls by reducing background noise and preventing sound leakage.

Equipped with a high-definition audio output through LHDC codec support and certified by Hi-Res Audio Wireless Gold Label, the earphones promise an exceptional sound quality that rivals more expensive counterparts in the market. The earphones support a wide frequency range up to 96 kHz, ensuring users can enjoy a rich and detailed sound spectrum.

Designed for versatility, the earphones are built with nickel-titanium alloy wires that can be bent to achieve the perfect fit, making them suitable for a variety of activities, from daily commuting to vigorous exercise. They are also rated IP54 for water resistance, adding to their durability.

On the functionality front, the Xiaomi Open Earphones offer impressive battery life, providing up to 7.5 hours of playback on a single charge, with the total battery life extending to about 38 hours when used with the charging case. They ensure seamless connectivity across a range of devices through the HyperOS operating system.

Available initially at approximately $103 in China, these earphones went on sale starting April 10th across various platforms.
