An artificial neural network will help Adobe deal with fake news and various photo manipulations.

At the annual Max creativity conference last week, the Adobe company introduced several new tools and features. The most interesting one for us seemed a method of dealing with fake images as Adobe’s Photoshop is most frequently used for altering images.

The About Face feature analyzes pixels of an image and thus shows a map of those areas that have been edited. This feature is still in development.

The company also told about a feature called Sweet Talk that matches up an audio track with the photo. It makes it possible to animate characters in the pictures as if they were pronouncing words from the given track.

One more feature that was presented is the Sound Seek, which can help reduce the use of filler words in speech. It detects interjections and filler words in one’s speech and removes them from the audio track in one click.
