HMD Global has officially launched the Barbie-themed flip phone, a nostalgic nod to the iconic doll with a modern twist. Based on the Nokia 2660 Flip, the phone features an eye-catching pink design, complete with themed accessories such as beaded straps, charms, stickers, and extra back covers.

It’s designed as a simple device for calls and texts, perfect for those looking to disconnect from constant smartphone use.

The phone features a 2.8-inch main screen and a smaller 1.77-inch cover display. It’s powered by the Unisoc T107 chip, has 64MB RAM, 128MB of storage expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card, and comes with a 0.3MP camera.

Other features include Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a USB-C port for charging. The Barbie Phone also includes a removable 1,450mAh battery.

What makes this phone stand out is its Barbie-themed software interface, featuring unique icons, wallpapers, ringtones, and even a Barbie Meditation app to promote digital wellbeing. Users can also customize the device with the included pink accessories like a beaded strap and Barbie charms. The phone aims to give users a "vacation from their smartphones" with its minimalist design, limited to essential functions.
