Breaking away from its usual reveal at the Google I/O event, the tech giant introduced the smartphone early, boasting a fresh mint color alongside the traditional hues.

Under the hood, Google has made significant changes. Instead of the Exynos chip, the Pixel Watch 2 runs on the Snapdragon W5. The watch's RAM remains unchanged at 2 GB, ensuring smooth performance.

Security is a top priority for Android 14. The update enhances passkey support, enabling the use of fingerprints for third-party app sign-ins. Android's Credential Manager streamlines the login process by consolidating various sign-in methods.

At this year's Google I/O conference, the company announced not only the new Android version but also new devices, including its first Pixel Watch, the affordable Pixel 6A, the flagship Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, and the Pixel Buds Pro headphones.

Google is developing its own processors codenamed Whitechapel, marking the line's transition to custom SoCs. Google's next flagship Pixel smartphone will receive Google's own GS101 processor.

The features of Android 11 Developer Preview will be developed in the new version of the operating system: fifth-generation networks, folding screens, and machine learning technologies.

Very soon, the Google Stadia gaming service will be available on several smartphones manufactured by Asus, Razer, and Samsung. Previously, the service was only available on Google Pixels.
