Microsoft Introduced the Surface Book 3 Laptop, Surface Go 2 Tablet, and Own Wireless Headphones

Microsoft introduced the new Surface Book 3 laptop, Surface Go 2 tablet, and also announced the price and release date of its wireless headphones. All new items will go on sale this month.


Surface Go 2

The Microsoft Surface Go 2 tablet has the same slim and light body as its predecessor but now offers a larger 10.5-inch PixelSense display as opposed to the 10.1-inch screen of the original. The base model is equipped with an Intel Pentium Gold 4425Y processor. But for more demanding users, a modification with the 8th generation Intel Core m3 chip is provided, with 64% better performance compared to its predecessor. Surface Go 2 goes on sale on May 12. Prices range from $399 to $879.

Surface Book 3

According to Microsoft, Surface Book 3 has become the most powerful laptop in the company's history. It provides up to 17.5 hours of battery life. The 15-inch model of the laptop has an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q graphics card, which, if desired, can be replaced with the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 version. Also, the new product has 32 GB of RAM and an SSD-drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB. It will be possible to buy a laptop at a price from $1,599 to $3,499 from May 21.

Surface Earbuds

Also, Microsoft announced the release date and the final cost of Surface Earbuds – a competitor to Apple AirPods. When users connect Surface Earbuds to Android devices, they can control the Spotify app. From one charge, the headphones can work up to 8 hours, and thanks to the charging case, autonomy can be increased up to a whole day. Like the Surface Go 2, wireless headphones will be released on May 12 for $199. It is $50 less than the price announced at the presentation in October last year – $249.
