Nothing has introduced the Phone (2a) Plus, a follow-up to the Phone (2a) released just four months ago. The new model offers upgraded performance, an improved camera, and two new color options, all while maintaining an affordable price point.

The Phone (2a) Plus features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits, similar to its predecessor.

However, the most significant upgrades are under the hood. The device is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Plus chipset, which delivers 10% faster CPU performance and a 30% improvement in graphics speed compared to the Phone (2a).

Another standout feature is the upgraded 50MP front-facing camera, which supports 4K video recording at up to 30 frames per second—an improvement over the 32MP sensor in the previous model. The rear camera system remains the same, with dual 50MP sensors for standard and ultra-wide shots.

The Phone (2a) Plus is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging, a slight improvement from the 45W charging on the Phone (2a). The device runs on Nothing OS 2.6, with integrated ChatGPT and a new News Reporter widget, which reads news aloud using AI.

Nothing Unveils Customizable CMF Phone 1
The CMF Phone 1 features a removable back panel secured by screws, a rare design choice in today’s smartphone market. Users can easily swap the back covers, available in several vibrant colors.

Available in two new colors—metallic grey and updated black—the Phone (2a) Plus is priced at $399. It is available in select markets, with wider availability expected later in the year.
