Sony continues to please the PlayStation Plus subscribers with gifts. For example, in April, PlayStation Plus users could receive Uncharted 4: A Thief's End for free. There is a chance that in June, PS Plus customers will be able to download another hit for free – Marvel's Spider-Man.
The freebie was noticed in the British segment of the PlayStation Store. Spider-Man is sold for a standard price, but when you try to add it to your cart, two editions are offered, including the one that is free for PS Plus subscribers.
The standard set is noted as a gift, which includes the basic game without three post-launch story chapters.
According to rumors, next month, Sony will arrange a presentation of the PlayStation 5 or at least the starting line of games for it. That's why the free distribution of Marvel's Spider-Man would not seem surprising – the corporation will undoubtedly want to reinforce the gaming holiday with worthy gifts for its fans. Besides, one of the first PS5 exclusives may be the continuation of Spider-Man. It makes sense to distribute the original version of the game for free and expand the audience of the sequel.
Meanwhile, Sony announced that one of the June gifts would be Call of Duty: WWII. The shooter can be downloaded beginning May 26. The company did not name the second free entertainment from the selection, and that is another reason to suppose that it has something exciting planned!
