The UK is constantly at war because of cyberattacks coming from foreign territories, especially from Russia and China. This statement was made by the General Sir Nicholas Carter, Chief of the Defence Staff to the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
General noted that the changing nature of hostilities shows that the borders between states of peace and war blur because of the rivalry of the major powers.
Sir Carter believes that the main threat refers to the information space and comes from China and Russia. Carter promised that the country's authorities would not leave the actions of their opponents unanswered.
Russia and China have repeatedly denied allegations of involvement in cyberattacks. The Russian Foreign Ministry even called such statements a spy mania.
