Here’s how do I set up notifications for WhatsApp chats:
- Open the messenger.
- Select the Chats tab.
- Swipe the desired chat left.
- Click More.
- A menu will appear. Tap Contact Info. By the way, the same can be done by going to the desired chat and clicking on its name.
- In the tab that opens, select Custom Tone, and select the notification sound that suits you. If you do not want to hear messages notifications from a contact or chat, then select None in this menu.
- Click Save.
