U.S. President Donald Trump's administration has vowed to ban all e-cigarettes with flavors, including menthol mixes and fruit flavors. These are the most in-demand among American schoolchildren.

A series of diseases among vape smokers continues in the United States, so Trump's decision is supported by the press. At the moment, the number of vapers is approaching 500, 6 of which have died.

During the discussion in White House, Trump administration and the Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said they intend to clean up the market from flavored e-cigarettes to reverse the deeply troubling epidemic of their use by young people.

Details on the regulation of the e-cigarettes market and their licensing will be published in the nearest future. However, it is already known that the new rules will affect most of the market. U.S. market leader Juul sells up to 85% of flavored blends, but is not going to object the changes in the law:

"We strongly agree with the need for aggressive category-wide action on flavored products", Juul's representatives responded.

According to the U.S. Department of Health, vapor devices are used by five million American minors, and their number has increased by 20% in the last year. A massive epidemic among vapers began in the U.S. in late summer. However, FDA and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have to find out the cause of the disease. Besides, it is noted that before the onset of symptoms, most patients were healthy.
