Lenovo continues to follow its business style. After releasing Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop, the Chinese company presented an ultra-thin wireless speaker called ThinkPlus.

Its design is quite simple; the body of the device looks classy as it is made of aluminum alloy. A metal grille protects the front panel, whereas the back panel is a bit disappointing because it is made of plastic. It can be forgiven, though, as the speaker measures 11mm in thickness and weighs only 145 grams.

There are five buttons on the front panel:

  1. The button that can disable the sound or open the virtual voice assistant that is paired to your smartphone if you press and hold this button for 2 seconds. Apple’s Siri, Google Assistant, Microsoft Cortana, and others can be used.
  2. The Bluetooth button.
  3. The Play button that you can also press if you want to accept the call.
  4. The fourth and fifth buttons are responsible for volume control.

Connecting to your phone is quick and easy as the speaker supports Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC connection. To use them, hold the lower part of the speaker within a few centimeters of your smartphone, and it will connect.

The ThinkPlus speaker has a built-in battery with a capacity of 2430 mAh that will give you up to 12 hours of continuous use. The device supports quick charge over Type-C USB port. It takes 2 hours to charge the speaker fully.

ThinkPlus is very affordable. If you desire to buy a speaker that you can easily put into your pocket just like a smartphone, the new Lenovo ThinkPlus is ideal for you. In China, its price is ¥1299 ($182).
