China Aimed to Fix Trade Relationships with the USA and Conquer Intellectual Property Theft
The Chinese Government is going to protect intellectual property rights and ingrain more severe punishment for non-compliance for the upgraded regional laws. Several documents with explanations and penalties for the local authorities had been already developed.
This could be the starting point towards the ending of the trade war between the two mighty countries with the largest economies. Moreover, Chinese experts predict the positive impact from these changes as the critical level of crimes in this issue can lower down significantly by 2022, and the affected party can receive a repayment with fewer efforts.
The disagreement traced back to the events of July 2018 when the USA lodged a claim towards Chinese manufacturers who simply created the cheaper copycat of the American products and imported them on the US market.
Previously, the Celestial Empire ignored the need for lawmaking changes, but in early November two countries admitted the truce. That can bring the gradual import tariffs cutting.
