On April 24, at 2:00 in the Royal Battle of Fortnite from Epic Games, the grandest media event in the history of video games took place – the Astronomical virtual concert of rapper Travis Scott.

Fortnite's concert was watched in the shooter by 12.3 million players who broke the record for the number of simultaneous online players. The total number of viewers of the show, taking into account 1.7 million on YouTube and 1.2 million on Twitch, reached more than 15.2 million people!

Travis Scott appeared in the game as a dancing giant, flying on a comet. During a performance that began with Sicko Mode track, Scott's avatar changed the entire game level, graphic shaders, vector, and gravity. In general, it seemed as if you were a participant and got inside a grandiose interactive music video.

The performance lasted about 10 minutes, and Scott presented a new song dubbed The Scotts, which was recorded together with Kid Cudi.

Preparations for the concert at Epic Games were carried out remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Astronomical is far from the first major media event at Fortnite. On February 2, 2019, the game hosted a similar concert by DJ Marshmello, which gathered more than 10 million spectators.

And on December 14, 2019, Fortnite had an exclusive preview of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, where some new shots from the film were presented.
