On October 30, the first episode of the second season of The Mandalorian was released. On this occasion, we will – for those who don’t know yet – tell you who Baby Yoda is and why the whole world is crazy about him.

Where did Baby Yoda come from?
Last November, the first episode of The Mandalorian was released on the Disney+ streaming service. This is a Star Wars spin-off set five years after the final defeat of the Empire in Return of the Jedi.
The series tells about the adventures of a silent bounty hunter. He is instructed to find and capture a 50-year-old foreigner, dead or alive. The customers do not give a more accurate description. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that the target was actually an alien infant – known as “the Child” – of an unnamed race, to which Master Yoda belonged. Its representatives live long and age slowly. For instance, when Yoda died, he was over 900 years old. The audience immediately called the new character Baby Yoda.

After the second episode's premiere, social media platforms were flooded with posts with GIFs and images of little Yoda. Many people wanted to adopt him immediately!

What do we know about Baby Yoda's future adventures? More recently, it was revealed that Boba Fett will appear in the second season of The Mandalorian alongside Bo-Katan Kryze, played by Katee Sackhoff. Also, Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars will appear in the second season, played by Rosario Dawson.

The Mandalorian season 2: the plot
In the second season, the Mandalorian Din Djarin believes that he got rid of Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). The Mandalorian begins to look for a way home for his named son. Meanwhile, Gideon, who wields the Darksaber, the ancient weapon of the Mandalorian rulers, once again begins the hunt for Djarin and Baby Yoda.
