Adobe Presented the iPad Version of Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is finally adjusted for Apple tablets.

Photoshop for iPad includes the major elements of the graphics editor and the same tools as the desktop version has, besides the program is designed with features for mobile devices. Adobe emphasizes that this first version is focused on widely-used tasks, but further updates will expand the functionality.

You can use quick gestures and touch controls for quick access to make changes directly on the canvas and speed up the workflow. The context-dependent user interface displays only the necessary tools and panels, allowing you to focus entirely on the canvas, Adobe says.

In the left toolbar, you'll find traditional elements: a brush, a cloning stamp, a lasso, a point-repair brush, an eraser, a pipette, a framing, and so on. The layers are positioned on the right along with the brightness, contrast, and saturation tools. New gradients, swatches, and patterns also bring more opportunities and creative ideas.

The PSD-files are always in sync between all your devices. User can work anywhere, offline or on other devices, all the latest actions would be saved. The updated cloud storing allows editing the same document without additional import and export, converting or quality lowering.

Unfortunately, the iPad Photoshop lacks video-oriented tools like the Timeline panel, so this program is not able to work with animation or quick video editing. What'sWhat's more, the program doesn't include any specific gestures or shortcuts you can use on iPad with a plug-in keyboard. However, Adobe added the guiding videos for each novelty they offer.
