Microsoft has officially launched its AI-driven Designer app, now available for iOS and Android users. Designed to help users generate images and designs based on text prompts, the app aims to simplify the creative process with the power of artificial intelligence.

The Designer app, previously available only in a web preview, now offers a wide array of features, including the ability to create custom images, stickers, greeting cards, and even avatars. The app also includes AI tools for editing images, such as background removal, object deletion, and applying unique styles to photos.

One of the standout features is the app's integration with other Microsoft products, such as Word and PowerPoint, through Microsoft Copilot. This allows users to create and incorporate images directly into their documents and presentations. Additionally, the app is now part of Microsoft Photos on Windows 11, enabling users to edit images seamlessly within the Photos app.

Once the app becomes generally available, Microsoft will keep the standalone free version as well as provide a more feature-filled version for Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Family subscribers.

Designer supports more than 80 languages and is available for free. With its release, Microsoft continues to push the boundaries of what can be achieved with AI in everyday creative tasks, making design accessible and intuitive for everyone.
