Microsoft Presented a New Generation of Xbox at The Game Awards
At this year’s The Game Awards, Microsoft introduced the next generation Xbox console called the Xbox Series X. Previously, the new product was codenamed Project Scarlett.
The new Xbox is entirely unlike its predecessors – it has a square body, which is elongated in height. On the front panel, there is a slot for loading optical discs, and the top end is covered with a grid of round holes. It will be possible to effectively clean the surface of dust only with a vacuum cleaner.
In a video published on YouTube, developers describe the Xbox Series X console as "your dream is under control," and the video ends with the phrase "Power your dreams."
The console supports "thousands of games" of four Xbox generations for backward compatibility.
