The latest Steam Game Festival will kick off on Wednesday, February 3, and last through February 9. It will feature over 500 playable demos of upcoming titles. The event debuted in December 2019 during The Game Awards.

The idea behind the festival is to let gamers check out games for free before they are officially released. If they like the demos, they will most likely buy the games once they are launched.

Here’s a list of some of the games that will be showcased at this month’s festival:

  • Hazel Sky
  • Fling to the Finish
  • Black Book
  • Almighty: Kill Your Gods
  • Shady Knight
  • Genesis Noir
  • The Riftbreaker
  • Bloodroots
  • Siege Survival: Gloria Victis
  • Blunt Force
  • Children of Silentown
  • Narita Boy

The Steam Game Festival is a multi-day event where fans can chat with developers, learn about Steam's upcoming games, try out demos, and watch live streams. For developers, the Steam Game Festival is an opportunity to build an audience for future releases and get early feedback from players.

Valve started hosting the virtual Steam Game Festival last year amid the coronavirus pandemic after events like Game Developers Conference got canceled. In September last year, Valve decided to make Steam Game Festival a regular event after reviewing feedback from developers and gamers.

The festival is set to begin on February 3 at 10 AM PST / 1 PM EST / 6 PM GMT. To get a reminder when the festival starts, you can sign up here.
