Instagram Will Block Users Who Abuse People in Direct Messages
Instagram announced that it would disable the accounts of people who send hateful messages, as well as racist and anti-Semitic statements, to others in direct messages.

The window that opens will display the first and last two digits of the phone number, as well as the first and last letters of the email linked to the account. Thus, if this is a person close to you and you know their email address or phone number, you can compare them and understand whether it is who you think it is.

If you want, you can separately request to send you an email or SMS. The windows that open will also display parts of the email and phone number, respectively.

Note: The names of settings from the list and their location may differ depending on the operating system and application version.
