Your smartphone uses the standard vibration level for calls and notifications by default. If this default vibration intensity level annoys you, the Android operating system lets you customize this parameter any way you like.

The vibration adjustment option is only available on Android 10 or higher.

How to adjust the vibration intensity on your phone:

  1. Open Settings → Accessibility.
  2. Tap Vibration & haptic strength.
  3. Select the category in which you want to change the vibration intensity.
  4. Select the vibration level you need: High, Medium, Low, Off.

On some Google Pixel devices, the vibration level can be adjusted with a slider. The instructions above are applicable for AOSP firmware. Some manufacturers implement this feature in their devices regardless of the Android version.
