The highly anticipated Arc browser has officially launched and is now available for download on Mac and iOS devices. Developed by The Browser Company, Arc aims to revolutionize how we use the internet by providing not just a traditional browser, but rather an "operating system for the internet."

In addition to web browsing, Arc offers a range of utilities, including note-taking, collaborative work on texts and illustrations with others, and the ability to customize website interfaces and fonts.

One of the standout features of Arc is its vertical tab panel, which replaces the conventional horizontal layout. This panel displays bookmarks, saved pages, and currently open tabs, along with a player for audio or video files.

The iOS version of Arc is currently positioned as a companion app, with a full browser version for Windows in the works. Its unique approach to web browsing may not suit everyone's preferences, but it has already garnered a devoted following among tech and design enthusiasts.
