Ford picked up the torch and unveiled its first electric crossover Mustang Mach-E. The car manufacturer said that the model will be available on the market at the end of 2020 with five modifications.
The legendary stallion, Mustang is Ford's claim to fame car. Since the 1960s, the automaker has released over 10 million Mustangs in various modifications. In winter, 2018, the company announced the investments were increasing for production of e-vehicles from $4.5 to $11 billion.
Ford Mustang Mach-E version will get engines 258, 285, 337, and 465 of horsepower.
The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h will take 3.5 to 6 seconds.
Five modifications of e-cars will be equipped with batteries of 75.7 kWh and 98.8 kWh. Ford said that Mach-E can travel up to 600 km without additional charging.
The recharging speed is rather impressive: up to 80% of the batteries can be filled in 38 minutes.
Customers can buy Ford Mustang Mach-E in the United States, Europe, and China at the end of 2020. Depending on the Mustang model, the Mach-E will cost $44,000 to $60,500.
