Apple has introduced the new iPad Mini 7, marking the first update to its compact tablet line in three years. Equipped with the powerful A17 Pro chip, the device offers enhanced performance and new AI-powered features through Apple Intelligence. The 8.3-inch tablet now supports the Apple Pencil Pro, making it an ideal tool for artists and designers.
The A17 Pro chip brings a 30% increase in CPU performance and a 25% boost in GPU performance. This upgrade powers the Neural Engine, doubling its speed compared to the previous iPad Mini. Users can also benefit from new AI tools in apps like Mail and Notes, alongside faster Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and a 12MP camera with Smart HDR 4.
Available in four colors — blue, purple, starlight, and space gray — the iPad Mini 7 comes with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Prices start at $499 for the Wi-Fi model and $649 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version. Pre-orders are now open, with deliveries starting October 23.
