Last week, Apple removed the popular game Fortnite from the App Store, after Epic Games added direct payment method for the Fortnite gamers that allows users to make purchases without paying Apple's standard 30% service fee.
After the game was removed and it became impossible to download it on iOS, some iPad and iPhone owners started to sell their used devices with Fortnite installed on eBay at higher prices.
One user is selling a low-cost model iPad 7 with Fortnite for an incredible $900. It is worth noting that the cost of the iPad 7 is currently $300, so the asking price by the user looks very high, even the more powerful 11-inch iPad Pro costs less.
However, if you are a big Fortnite fan, the overpricing probably won't be an obstacle to owning a gadget with the game. But before buying, it is important to understand that if the conflict between Apple and Epic Games is not resolved, Fortnite may stop launching even on already installed devices.
So now, if you want to play Fortnite on iOS, you can buy used Apple devices with the installed game or use another way to install Fortnite on iPad or iPhone for free.
The App Store has a very useful feature: if you download an app once on your device, it will always be available for download even if it is banned or removed from the store.
Three easy steps on how to reinstall Fortnite on Apple devices:
Open the App Store on your iPhone, tap on the profile icon, and then tap on My Purchases.
You will see the list with all the apps and games that you have installed on your iPhone or iPad. Scroll down to reveal the search bar and search for Fortnite.
If you had installed Fortnite previously, it should show up in search results. Tap on the download icon near Fortnite to start the installation process.
