Huawei Technologies Co. is subjected to approximately 1 million cyberattacks every day, both from domestic invaders and from outside the country. Kyodo News reported the company's senior vice president, John Suffolk, as saying.
In September, Huawei stated that the U.S. presidential agents set cyberattacks to "infiltrate Huawei's intranet and internal information systems." The malefactors aimed to steal sensitive information by spreading a computer virus in the email.
Nowadays, Huawei covers 170 countries and regions and has signed commercial contracts to supply 5G hardware with almost 50 operators in 30 countries. The United States prompts its allies to give up using Huawei's 5G network equipment, explaining that it could be used for espionage activities to the benefit of the Chinese government.
