NASA engineer built an obstacle course for squirrels. Only the strongest will get a nut!
Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer and a part-time blogger, decided to teach a bunch of squirrels that were stealing bird seeds from his site a lesson. Mark had more free time during quarantine, so he used a comprehensive approach to solve this problem – he designed a real obstacle course for squirrels. The source of Mark’s inspiration was the American Ninja show, where participants needed to overcome various obstacles as quickly as possible. The squirrels had an easier task, they had no time limits, but they had to overcome several obstacles, too. The reward was worthy indeed – it was a feeder full of walnuts!
According to Mark, four squirrels took part in the competition for nuts, and, as a result, all four made it to the final. The blogger has been filming the experiment itself for two months! That’s a worthy quarantine activity!
A girl teaches her cats how to draw a flower: a touching video with very calm cats
At some point, you probably dreamed about teaching your cat some useful stuff like opening a bottle of beer or at least cleaning its own litter box. So, children turned out to be much more successful at this, specifically, a little girl who decided not to leave her cats’ education to chance and began teaching them how to draw a flower. In her plan, there’s the development of the cats’ creative skills first, and then cleaning the litter box.
Elon Musk renamed his son from X Æ A-12 to X Æ A-Xii
Elon Musk, who named Tesla cars Tesla S, X, and 3 (which is very “unusual”), still cannot name his own son. He previously told the public that he and singer Grimes were going to give the kid a simple martian name X Æ A-12.
After that, the couple decided to legally register their son’s name but received a formal refusal from the California authorities. But being defeated is not about Musk and Grimes. In the comments to her Instagram post, the singer said that their child will be called X Æ A-Xii. The name should now fit the formal requirements of the law, as it contains only Latin letters and hyphens. As previously known, “A-12” refers to the happy parents’ favorite aircraft.
Dad’s review on his little daughter’s “restaurant” went viral
Instagram user @christophe_kyle posted a review on visiting his 1.5-year-old daughter Ava’s restaurant. Normally, cute parents’ posts about their children receive polite likes from their friends. But this time, the publication went viral, and it is not difficult to understand why! Chris wrote a review as if it was a serious review of a restaurant, and it looks hilarious in combination with the photo. Many media outlets wrote about Chris’s review. We, in turn, couldn’t let it go unnoticed as well.
Infernal Shrek spreads death and fun
The updated remastered edition of Resident Evil 3 was released in April this year, and looks extremely attractive, giving aesthetic pleasure to gamers around the world. Some joyful handyman created a mod that replaces the terrible superboss Nemesis with the cheeky and sweet green Shrek. Anyway, after that, you won’t be able to look at Shrek the same. It all looks amusing and even more creepy than in the original game.
A cat disappearing in the priest’s robe became the star of the Internet
There’s a lovely city of Canterbury in the UK. And in this city, there are Canterbury Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Christ at Canterbury. In this cathedral, among other priests, there is Rev. Robert Willis, and also a YouTube channel and several cats, one of which is called Leo.
Our today’s story is about Robert and Leo. The thing is that prayers and sermons are regularly published on the channel of the cathedral. During Willis’s morning address to his flock, Leo, the cat, sat in a chair nearby. He sat there quietly, left for some urgent cat affairs, and then returned and disappeared in Robert’s robe.
Judging by the Twitter account of the Canterbury Cathedral, Leo the cat is often present near the priest when he addresses his flock.

Man’s reaction to a potato in a box: you haven’t seen such riot of emotions for sure!
The classic and widely beloved trick of all the creators of horror movies says that you are not afraid of what you see, you are afraid of what you cannot see. And you can use this trick to prank your friends or family members. All you need for a prank are a box and some potatoes (you can replace it with any other veggie or object). The object in the box is not that important – the human psyche perfectly scares itself without any clues from the outside. A video that captured the prank and went viral thanks to the 9GAG Twitter community perfectly demonstrates how we are afraid of what we can’t see.
